One of my favorite new artist in 2008. Janelle Monae. Her smooth and silky jazz voice combined with her indie rock beats or so sick!!!!!!!( Sick is good by the way) I encourage everyone to check this bad sista out. ( Bad means good also ) Monae has a futuristic style. She has fused the old and new genre's of music together, and has created some interesting music. Listen to some of her songs.
